We follow the Acrobatc Arts syllabus. The program incorporates elements of acrodance, gymnastics, jazz, tumbling and basic contortion. The program focuses on skills, strength, flexibility, stamina, and confidence. Students who train in acrobatics will notice immense benefits in their jazz dancing and will help to create a much more versatile dancer. To master an acro trick, students must develop a good foundation of strength, flexibility and technique; thus emphasis is placed on extensive conditioning, and stretch and strength training.
Acrobatics is for students age 5 - 12 years
Dance Xplosion racer back top or crop top
Dance Xplosion shorts or plain black shorts may be worn
Bare feet for safety reasons
Hair is to be in either 1 or 2 low plaits or braids
